Call for papers

A two-stage submission procedure will be followed. As a first step, you are invited to submit an abstract of no more than 500 words. All submissions will be peer-reviewed. Relevance for the conference topics will be used as the main admission criterion. A clear explanation of relevancy, context, questions to be addressed, methodology, and main findings is requested. Bibliographic references have to be appended. It has to be indicated whether the intended presentation is for full six-page paper or short/poster, two-page paper.

Authors of accepted abstracts will receive an invitation to submit papers. Invitation will be accompanied by reviewers’ remarks and suggestions. Papers are required to demonstrate originality. Full papers should be between 3000-5000 words, and short papers between 1000-1500 words long. Authors of accepted full papers will be invited to present their work at the 5BOAC. Each presentation will last 20 minutes and be followed by 10 minutes of questions and/or discussion. Short papers will be presented in the form of posters. Detailed instructions about paper submission will be available on the conference website at the time of notification about abstracts acceptance/rejection.

The language of conference proceedings is English, as is official language of the conference. Proceedings will be published digitally, under Open Access. All accepted contributions will be published, be it as full papers, short papers or abstracts, depending on author(s) choice, as well as reviewers assessment of quality and relevance. Author of some unaccepted full papers will be encouraged to resubmit them as short papers. All authors will be given opportunity to present their submissions including abstracts only submissions, at least within mad minutes session.

All submitted papers will be double blind reviewed, each by at least two independent reviewers. Reviewing will be performed by the members of Programme Committee. In some cases, especially when conflict of interest is at stake, outside experts will be invited to serve as reviewers.

After the deadline for submitting abstracts is expired it will still be possible to turn the papers in, as long as (separate) deadlines for full or short papers are met. Decisions on such papers will be made within a regular, single-stage reviewing process.
